Today I finally received a call from my mother who is currently in Puerto Rico. This crazy lady decided to “go back home” knowing that there was a possibility that there wasn’t a home to go to. Even though we joked about that fact with tears in our eyes, it was still a hard pill to swallow. Nevertheless, she boarded a plane and went home. One of her main reasons for going back home was to know for herself how her siblings were doing. She is not the eldest of the clan but she has taken on a role to care, help and nurture them. I’m very proud of what my mother has accomplished. The same goes for her siblings which consist of 11 brothers and sister. Currently living, 6 out of the 11 including my old lady. Tía Susan's personality is unique and memorable to all that meet her . Tía Inez is a second mother to me. Those of you that love my cooking need to thank her too. Tía Maria is the comedian, seamstress, musician and healer (The Jack of all Trades). Tía Vidalina is a retired nurse, even though she is not currently working she is only a phone call away. Tío Tony is a construction worker but we all know he needs to sit down! He is very active in his communtiy, especial within the local church. They are just like your uncles and aunts. We are all responsible to help them one way or another.
I need to help them but I honestly can’t do it without you.
For older generations asking for money or donations from you will be considered a BIG NO NO!!! So…
November 1 - 15
All payments I receive from restorative massages, chair massages and energy healing sessions will be donated to the Negrón Santiago Family.
Look up the modalities, pick the best one for you and let’s help our extended familia.
