After sitting in a meeting for 2.5 hours I was looking forward to going home and decompressing before my mommy duties began. As with every day there is something I could check off a list 📝 and this Peace Lily was one of them. As I talk to her back to health (yes, I do that too) I am reminded of the importance of a healthy environment and connections. Just like this plant, we need to check our internal (nervous system) and external (connection to other) roots.
Where do I have roots? Are my roots healthy? Are my roots nourished? Have my roots expanded? 🤔 With that simple self awareness we can do wonders in our lives and the lives of our loved ones. I encourage you to take a deep look at your roots, take away those that no longer serve a purpose and nourish the healthy ones.

Opening up oneself to the opportunity to share space and connect with others has healing powers. Today I exchanged Ki (life force) scans with a practitioner I didn't know before today and yet we shared a beautiful vortex of cleansing Ki we created together. I tell you this because once upon a time I feared the unknown and connecting with others. In so, limiting my experiences in this world. As with everything else there was a lesson to be learned and shared. Which brings me to a place of encouraging you to step out of your comfort zone, try new and healthy ways to heal, take all the time you need to heal, and open up yourself to the opportunity to connect to the beauty of the unknown. Trust your Guides and let your energy vibrate at it's highest potential within you. Be the light you were always meant to be.
Negative thoughts are easy to come by and at times necessary to create balance in our lives. However when they overpower our thoughts we must acknowledge them and understand there purpose. If the thoughts are only to cause pain then we must take action. Prayer, smudging, and positive thinking are my go to.
